[ we are at the park! mostly because jonas doesn't mind being outside, even if this barely counts. he's sitting on the ground at the base of the slide, seemingly minding his own business but he does give a little wave when he sees amelia wander through. ]

Justice girl. [ she has a name, this is better. ] Hanging in there?

[saillune]

Yes! I'm doing just fine.

[She looks like a few days in purgatory(?) hasn't dampened her spirits one bit.]

It was Jonas, right? How have you been?

[ that's a good thing at least, god bless amelia. ]

Yeah, Jonas. [ there's a little grin. ] But fine I guess? All things considered, this isn't as bad as it could be. I thought maybe things would change after yesterday but...people seem to be coming around and focusing.

[ it's a little bit of a relief to know they're bound to start soon. ]

w0, saturday

[ it's not really that he's out seeking many people out. the end of the trial was an absolute shitshow, but now that he's had time outside of mcdonald's it's a little easier to breathe.

which is why he does, actually, stop briefly instead of turning in the other direction to acknowledge amelia. ]

Hey. [ he does have to wonder how she's feeling after something like this. ] Kind of a long day, huh?

[She looks... weirdly okay! Like she has way too much energy left over after everything that just happened.]

Yes! But everyone worked really hard, and we made it in the end!

[ amazing. he kind of looks impressed and a little uncertain both. ]

It was really, really close, but yeah. We made it in the end. [ also debatable if he'd say everyone worked hard when there was so much happening that maybe should not have happened, but it's fine. ] At least we get a little bit of a break before anything else happens.

w2 monday

[ happy monday!! while amelia's wandering around today, she may come across the skatepark! and in coming across the skatepark, she may come across jonas who's on a board and lazily drifting back and forth, not really doing anything much but simply being happy to be on a skateboard at all.

it does make it easier for him to look up and wave. ]

Amelia, hey! [ for once he looks. pleased? he's maybe a little lowkey excited for something like this. ]

Hi, Jonas!

[She waves cheerfully and bounds over to see this thing he's on!]

What's that?

[Good news: as she comes closer, all he'll get from her are genuine curiosity and generally good vibes.]

[ good to know that at least she's still doing well in the vibes. good vibes...weirdly, there's a flicker of something like being grateful? for the good vibes? hard to say. ]

Skate park. [ he gestures with a hand, before using the same hand to gesture at his feet where the board rolls back and forth. ] And skateboard. Which I'm gonna guess means you guys don't have anything similar to this?

[ monday mornings are always the time for exploration, but it's probably not much of a surprise that jonas gravitates toward stuff that's familiar. this is what happens today and he finds himself in front of the movie theater, looking up to see if he can determine what kind of films are playing.

he's not opposed to going to movies alone, but they're always better with another person. this is what he's thinking when he spots amelia and waves to her. ]

New or familiar to you? [ some people have versions of movies, so he's curious. ]

[saillune]

[She looks up at it...

Then leans in, as if sharing an embarrassing secret:]

... What is it?

[That probably answers that.]

[ help. he tries not to laugh, but he keeps his demeanor pretty light and easygoing as he gestures with a hand. ]

This is a movie theater. Usually you have to pay to go see one, but looks like we got off the hook here. It's like...a place you go where you can watch a story told through a bunch of moving pictures.

[ ziplines. jonas is here, eyeing these lines and the clouds connected before he immediately gives amelia a grin. ]

What do you think? Worth a shot? [ adventure. ]

Absolutely!!

[She's been staring at these and slowly realizing what they're used for, and she is psyched.]

We can glide across with these, right!? Almost like flying!

Yeah! Yuzuriha and I actually did this at the VR place last week? Which...feels really silly now knowing these are here, but we didn't at the time. So I guess it's fine? They're pretty fun when you get the right speed. Bet we could race these, too.

[ which is about as far as he gets before a pig noise comes trotting over to them, pushing them both out of the way before sailing down the zipline itself. wheeeeee! it also means a barrier encloses the two of them, and amelia is treated to a memory ending at 39:02. times jonas is off-screen (31:29-34:07) can be skipped but viewed for the path of the cave itself. ]

[ as she returns to the warehouse area, she'll find jonas leaning against the front of the warehouse with a cigarette in his hand and staring off into space.

but he sees amelia and gives her a tiny nod. ]

...are you okay?

[saillune]

[She stops at the question, and faces him with a faint smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes.]

Yeah. I'm... mostly okay.

I'm more worried about you. I'm... sorry about Setsu.

[westedge]

[ that's how you really know things are bad, when amelia's smile isn't entirely genuine. ]

Mostly. It's hard to be okay with these things, I think. Sorry about Simon. That...has to be hard after losing Fukuzawa last week, too. [ he kind of looks away. ]

All four of us...knew it was a matter of time before someone came after us. We were never sure who it'd be. But I think there wasn't a good answer.

[ christmas town!!! there is so much snow and jonas is back in his beanie and bundled in his normal jacket, but he seems relatively okay? seems.

but he does offer amelia a light smile. ]

Are you from a place that actually gets snow?

[saillune]

Nope!! My home's pretty close to the desert. I've seen snow a couple times before, but I've never seen so much!!

[And she looks so incredibly hyped about it. Also she's just in her normal clothes, but she seems too excited to care about the cold.]

What about you, Jonas?

[ jonas usually defaults to the park when he needs to clear his head, and today is no exception. so while he's walking around fairly aimlessly, he does find himself seeing amelia ahead and gives her a tiny nod of greeting. ]

...these things have to be over soon, don't you think?

[saillune]

[He'll catch a brief glimpse of her thoughts -- most of them about being worried about Livio, or Kyoko, or both at the same time.

But she manages a smile when she looks over to see him.]

... Yeah. We're almost there!

Though I don't know what the coming days are going to be like...
