[ we are at the park! mostly because jonas doesn't mind being outside, even if this barely counts. he's sitting on the ground at the base of the slide, seemingly minding his own business but he does give a little wave when he sees amelia wander through. ]

Yeah. A lot of people still weren't sure what to do about their teams or anything, but after yesterday it sounds like everyone started thinking again. [ a pause. ] It would just sort of suck to see someone fail a mission before we even really started. You know?
Exactly. It hasn't been that long, but I can't think of anyone who wants to see anybody erased this early. Even if a lot of us aren't so sure about the missions either.

[ it's not really that he's out seeking many people out. the end of the trial was an absolute shitshow, but now that he's had time outside of mcdonald's it's a little easier to breathe.

Well... I haven't talked to everyone, but the people I have talked to were in agreement about it.
And I know some people come across as kind of suspicious, but... they'll be the first ones people look at when something bad happens, right? So for them, the risks that come with actually doing something bad are really high.

I guess that makes sense if it turns out to be that easy. [ he can sort of see her point, even if he doesn't entirely agree. ] But I think there's always going to be people who don't look suspicious but really are kind of dangerous. We'll have to try and get to know people better if we're going to catch anybody.

Well... I did get to travel to neighbouring kingdoms now and then...
But until recently, it was impossible to go much farther! There was a barrier around our continent, so nobody could venture beyond those limits.
Now the barrier's gone, and what's more, I get to meet people not just from the far reaches of the world, but from other worlds entirely!
