I'm still deciding if any of us can be ready...but yeah. We've got a team, and we're going to start figuring out where to go from there. We're probably meeting up later today.

Any guesses on what the tasks might be this time?

Beyond just forming a team? Likely something that will involve teamwork if they're waiting until we're all assembled.

And yet teamwork could mean so many different things in a competition. [ so that's a little annoying... ]

...I think the vagueness is what's making people crazy.

It's difficult to prepare for the unknown future.

And somehow it's even worse when this is about our future.

Nothing to do but keep going on.

You've never done anything like this before, have you? Like. Not...dying, obviously, but the whole team competition thing.

No. Nothing like this. I have an employee, but we don't go entering competitions.

Just the one employee?

The ghost recently decided to pass on.

If it was a ghost, wouldn't they have already passed on in the first place...?

If something is a ghost that means they're sticking around. Once they disappear and resolve their business they've fully passed on.

And then what are the chances of a ghost coming back after they've passed on?

[factoring]

For that one? None. They've managed to tie up their loose ends.

And...ghosts in general? Or is that the only one you've encountered?

[factoring]

I've only met one.

[If we don't count things like Ghostmon and Soulmon and the like.]

Well. I can't say you're missing much, so there's that. [ is that a good thing? debatable. ]

I wasn't even sure I believed they were real up until that point, but...yeah. Ghosts just seem to happen. [ ... ] At least we're not ghosts, here. The shadow people around us aren't really either.

So what exactly are we? And what are they?

[westedge]

Uh...we're dead souls and they're like living people on a different plane. Since we're in the UG, there's like...a disconnect? I guess. Between the two of them. The reapers implied they had to do some stuff to even get the employees here to acknowledge us.
