Hey, I'm being at least a little serious about things... if I really wasn't gonna bother, I'd still be sleeping.

What about you? Worried you'll run out of time, or think you'll have stuff figured out by then.

I wouldn't call it worried. We're pretty much covered in what we want to do, I think. We might wait another day just to be sure, but...we're further ahead than we were.

Me and a teammate. We knew we would be on the same one right away, but it's been all about finding two other people.

Halfway there from the beginning, huh...? Guess it's a decent head start.

Yeah, we knew on Friday so...maybe that helped a little. [ he is aware he had a good head start but he's not thinking too hard about it. ] It's still a big decision to make.

Especially when most of us just met a couple days ago... just gotta trust you know enough about 'em already.

Isn't that all the more reason to be putting in a little effort to talk to people?

That's what I'm doing... think yesterday helped a little, at least.

It wasn't a bad question to ask. [ he can admit that. ] Even if the answers weren't the best examples.

Still says something about them, though, right? Leaves an impression.

[he's not the type who can like, analyze it, but it's a vibe check.]

I thought it might help figure out who I'd be able to work with.

It's good to get a gauge, sure. Did it help at all with what you were looking for?

Have you asked people to join you? Or are you still observing them further?

Most people I talked to are still holding off on deciding for a while longer, so...

[the progress bar is like. questionable.]

But...people have to have some kind of opinions already, don't they? [ just waiting without doing seems strange. ]

You'd think, right? I just don't think they wanna share too early.

And I can't disagree, but it's also gonna suck if people are trying to figure out teams but all of their options dry up because someone else picked them first.

[ ...well. ]

Then again, that's just another part of the competition.

Yeah. Figure it out fast, or... just end up with whoever's left, probably.

[and hope they'll work with you, if it comes to that-- depending on who you end up with.]

It'll probably be harder to play if you didn't exactly decide to be a team by choice.

Yeah. You might end up lucky and be with someone who's willing to try and make things work, but considering what's at stake...there's an equal chance of that not happening. I get that first impressions matter, but this is pretty extreme.

No wonder it's a first mission or something, then...

[just as much a part of the game as anything else. get yourself a winning team, or don't.]
