Condolences aren't ever nearly as helpful as we want them to be, you know? Been there. Kind of had to be with my job. But people mean it, and they still mean something to me.
I'll manage. Have to with 4 cases. But I asked Alex if she could keep an eye on the ladies during strip search, so Just keep a lookout for things that seem off? We can't let what happened last week happen again.
believe me, i know but i guess that's true there's something to be said about intent god. we messed up with two cases last time, how the hell are we going to manage four? there WAS the weird hangman message from earlier we're gonna have to force the issue this time. no more excuses but i'll do my best it feels like it gets worse and worse each week the more people learn certain tricks nobody can let their guard down
Yeah. It doesn't fix much, but the intent is there. It's what matters.
I keep thinking about that message too. As stupid as it was, it WAS a message. We just have to keep on top of things and people, and try not to let ourselves get distracted or spiral Since I doubt they're going to give us any extra time for the fact that our case count doubled in the worst way. We'll just have to narrow down evidence and locations for each case, get a timeline, and go from there. Crack down on anyone that tries to wiggle out of checks. It's something I'll bring up during trial, at the start, but Fei Du took my gun last night, and gunshot wounds are distinctive.
there's no way they'll give us extra time and it's not like we can say "we will dedicate xyz amount of time to this case, and zyx time to another", that doesn't work the real problem is going to be if there's a bunch of overlap so we'll start there first ...that's good to know though. we'll see how far it moved and go from there.
