that seems to be a thing for both of you too complex problems i wish...he had gotten a chance to go back on his own i think i can understand that
[ if only because being left behind fucking sucks every time. ]
i was hoping it'd be quieter, too but...we did hear something that might explain some things if other people got similar messages i don't know how accurate they are, but i've been thinking about what that means about how erasing an entire team is better for an intended goal
the one i remember got to return home in my timeline, but Wolfwood here wasn't caught up yet. feels pretty bad.
[ canonpoints are awful ]
this reminds me that Shenhe mentioned that it's okay to wipe out a team, which i thought was weird when they were against it earlier. what message did you guys get?
i know you may not think so, but believe me when i say i think i know what you mean.
[ canonpoints are awful! ]
yeah we thought it was pretty weird too? i'm not sure who it came from, it went to alex though. something like... "i am sorry that this is how things have come to be. but as erasing an entire team is ultimately better for the intended goal, perhaps your team of three will remain intact?" so you know. exceptionally clear. we also got a message warning us that this week was going to get ugly which...does not fill me with confidence
with all these missions with people living years, different lives, and whatever other freaky stuff, then your guys' memories, i'm sure you do. the likelihood is high.
i wish they could tell us more, considering they seem to know more than us. does team wiping earn more points? will that let the winning team revive more people?
it's unfortunate also yeah. by the time we write back we might get the answer too late i think...if you wipe a whole team, it would have to be doing it by your own hands? idk if it counts if you erase one and then the other just disappears but i can't be sure it's about the only thing that makes sense though ...vash, who do you want to win?
i guess that's fair enough i do think there are some teams that are more questionable than others but we will not really know until the final points tally
yeah. it's normal for people to hold grudges, but i want to believe in the intrinsic good i've seen in others. we'll see when the points tally or if we get another leaderboard.
it's more that...i would like to believe in the intrinsic good but i don't think that exists not the way people want i think there are things that get in the way of that and it may or may not be better to remove those factors from the picture before really deciding i don't know it's complicated too when people keep saying every team has the best intentions in mind but we don't know that either
to be fair it wouldn't have earned points or anything anyway if it was outside of thursday so there's that too idk is it so bad to be pragmatic about it, you think? i don't want to fully support teams just because they're high-ranking without knowing everything about everything

i wish it was me, instead.
[ But he doesn't want Jonas to linger on that. He does mean objectively it makes more sense to take him out. ]
i had thought it'd be quieter this week, not two teams being wiped.

everyone here has been kind.
[ what an answer to that question, honestly. ]
who do you want to win, Jonas?

i don't know
is...you don't have to tell me why
but is there a reason you didn't actually answer?

got a problem with any of the current teams, then?

i sort of wish i could be less pessimistic
in theory, yes
in practice, i have to see what happens tomorrow
