Yeah...I told Wolfwood on Tuesday and he sort of left me on read. It's been pretty bad having to think about how real these things could be. When I asked the reapers they said they'd check if they were meant to be about our game but that it was pretty likely. More or less.

Well, the shadow people here are living people and when we enter buildings or try to get services from them, that's when we appear to them before disappearing. I wondered if that could have been what happened to Rin, but at a limited capacity. Maybe for a short time, under certain conditions, frequencies almost match. Sure, his body was still on the table, but we are allegedly souls, too, yet we have pulses and we can physically touch each other.

But that's if frequency and UUG have any weight to them. It's all theory, especially when we haven't seen this happen again. It could have just been a curse. A very... Unsettling one.

I'm more inclined to believing it's a psych if we saw it happen more than once. [ Speaking of psychs. ] Maybe we should assemble a list of what psychs we know exist or what we're assuming are psychs, actually. Another time.

How do we know Rin isn't the one who activated it before D killed him? That's kind of what I was thinking. I asked the reapers about why we saw him, and they could only tell me they couldn't answer any part of the case that I didn't know about myself. [ but hm...he nods to that. ] I don't disagree. We all know everybody has a team psych, at least. But who knows what any of them do.

I feel like the explanation here, more often than not, is really just "why not?" considering we're all dead. Somehow it's easier that way.
Think about it. If someone had an ability like that, you could really trick people into thinking someone else was there and get them to do or say whatever you want. Or at least what they'd say to that person. [ it's a thought, anyway. ]
You ever think we're really not supposed to have a real answer?
I would love if less happened for more reasons, but you know. Beggars, choosers. I feel like it takes away from the intensity of the game if we always get what we want.
