no, it was like uh for some reason it just seemed very important to protect them i think the whole thing was supposed to be like? symbolic maybe? like that cliche high school thing where you raise an egg
though actually there was some gigantic egg that broke or hatched or something and we never saw what came out of it
anyway if that was a mission it felt like a big failure since the worst person in that family was the only one who lived in the end
idk man that sounds pretty par for the course of a horror movie bad guys always win etc though suddenly a lot more concerned about whatever hatched that you never saw? really hoping that isn't going to be a problem later failure of a mission or not, you guys got back and that's what matters here i wouldn't call that a failure
