I got the impression that even if we solved who the culprit was, they can't tell us everything about how things went down. So if we failed to catch someone, it's probably something like that. If the points value for an erasure is as high as they say it is, then it'd be pretty obvious it's one of four people.
Still. That's a risk that should be taken in a competition like this. If you're going to play the game, you should remember the consequences.
