Every relationship has give and take, don't you think? But if you let people give you too much or if you let people take too much...

Then that's a pretty crappy relationship. [ just outright. ] If you let people give you too much, you're always going to wonder what the catch is. And if you let people take too much, then you wonder how soon it'll be before nothing's left.

But we'll see if any of that makes a difference here now.
