It makes you wonder what other landmarks might show up in other districts, you know? So far a lot of the things that've become available to us are stuff people from a modern earth should recognize.
[ which is weird, considering they're dead, but. ]
I can think of at least one person who might like the pyramids. [ hah. ] When the reapers said we'd be getting stuff I thought it'd at least be...like...cohesive? Is that even the right word for something like this?
It is, but... Maybe it makes sense? Like - even if our worlds have certain similarities, maybe some of the landmarks or common activities are different, and this place is somehow incorporating things similar to what each of us are familiar with. So, McDonalds and Ikea right next to a knockoff Eiffel Tower.
Nahri. She told me she's from Cairo so...it'd be something, at least. [ squinting a little at the theory though because yeah, when libby says it, it makes a little more sense. ] They said that we could only carry over certain things with us when our souls came, but maybe that also included like memories or aspects from our worlds or whatever. Spit it back out to make something new. I hadn't thought about that.
There is a museum now. [ it's kind of cute that she's interested. ] It's not that far from here...we can go look if you want? I can't promise I'll know my way around that well, but.
All I would've done is wander around until probably getting dragged by somebody else. So why not skip a few steps and do it with someone who actually might know what half of the displays are?
I can guarantee you that no matter how much you may or may not know, it's going to be more than I do. So I'll probably be appropriately impressed, or whatever.
w1, monday.
Pretty cool, right?

Not really what I was expecting, but yeah. It's cool. I've only seen pictures of the real tower so...not much to compare it to.

[based on the way she perks up, he's absolutely right. nerd.]
I've been wandering, but I must not have reached it yet...

You're sure you want to? I didn't mean to, um, pull you away from what you would have done otherwise.
