[ i'm sorry to say that he does have reflexes, and since i rolled a 1 and not a 2, the punch connects! except it's in the palm of his hand and not his gut. option 2 was straight up teleporting.

but okay. he shakes out his hand a little because a punch still has some impact, but it's better. ]
