Please. We get entire weeks between the real torture? This is nothing but slowburn. If they wanted to ramp stuff up, everything could be over with in a matter of hours.

There's probably a third reason in there that we don't know about yet. Like...I dunno. Maybe this guy's waiting for us to do something first but it can't happen until later in the game. It's not about the slowburn, but about getting something different in the end.

Something other than us suffering and killing for another chance at life? Like what? That already seems plenty enough to me.

Draw enough blood for a sacrificial ritual? Hell if I know. It's just a guess. But the whole routine of it all bothers me.

You don't have to tell me. I hate that "Thursday Night Murder, Corpse Finding Friday, Trial Saturday" is something I'm getting used to.
