He wanted to ask me for help, and asked to meet in a public location. Why murder me when he needed my help, and there was a witness to him asking for it.

Teuta’s not here. If he was going to kill me, he’d have killed her too. “Don’t leave any chance for revenge.”

No, yeah, that's completely fair. If someone wanted to erase the evidence it'd be...everybody. Maybe it isn't related then, but it's still kind of crazy that you found him again right before showing up.

Yeah, I can feel that. The… radio thing, that’s something about picking up messages?

...the radio was able to tune into these, like, hidden frequencies that were unusual. What we tuned into was the rift, and by tuning in we accidentally opened it.

Yeah. Once the rift was open we spent the whole night trying to figure out how to close them back into it and get away from the island.

Yeah. Alex and I got on the ferry with our friends to leave the island. We were heading home. That's...about the last thing either of us remembers before here.

Ahh. And we don't remember what happened before we got here -- or specifically how we died.

Right, exactly. So...something happened between then and now that I wish I had any clue about. It's been weeks. Why don't we remember?

Kinda makes you wonder. There's a chance they're holding our memories of what happened.

What, like holding them hostage to make sure we play along until the game's over? Like okay, yes, it works, but why?
