I don't think Simon going after Shenhe makes a lot of sense. Not with how those clues panned out. It's really obvious ice was used but I'm still not convinced that wasn't just her.

She did say she used ice back home. So, the flamethrower was probably in play and we managed to talk ourselves around it then.

Us thinking she burned out using both her fire and ice...maybe. I do think it's possible she was using bother, but the distance and range they covered doesn't make sense.
