Solving a case, I think. There were all these papers in her office about a case of... weirdly realistic dolls showing up? I guess she was looking into where they came from.

You’re not entirely wrong. The official tag line for them was Living Dead Doll Person. I don’t think those dolls were being made purely from an image, exactly.

But, comfort dolls. As in, we ran across a guy who was thinking of buying one. Not for decoration.
