Yeah. I get that. If your reputation precedes you or whatever, you have to work against it for what people can and can't know about you.

Mm. People are nosy too, so controlling what you let out in the public is… complicated, but better than just letting everything out all at once.

Some people are really good at that too.

Within reason. Some people take it to the level of manipulative asshole. Or an obsession.

Everyone’s got flaws, hiding them’s just creepy.

And depending on the flaws that leans right into devious. [ in a place like here. it all loops right back to that. ]

Yup. Y’know when someone seems a little too perfect? It puts you on edge. That kind of thing.

Because you can't actually tell what they're thinking and it makes them even more suspicious? Yeah. Yeah, totally.

Or, it’s just creepy because they become obsessed with it. [ he wobbles a hand. ] So. Moderation.

The good thing is we probably won't have to worry about that too much here. Too much other stuff going on.

Not sure. People forgive wild things to keep a status quo. But if you’re mad, you’re mad.

I didn't know either D or Rin well enough to say I'm outraged. But given D could apparently fight, he could've picked a target who could at least hold their own. Or be willing to.

I would agree with that. I'm still not sure why it was Rin he went after. We're still not even sure if Rin had a chance to really defend himself or not, considering how far they went around the city.

Seems like he tried, didn’t he? Although dropping pillows isn’t how I’d defend myself with that pin.

If he was trying to block D's vision so he had time to move, I could see it. But pillows wouldn't be my first thought either. I'd probably go with bricks or something.

Truck'd be another option. It'd hit a lot of ground. But then we'd probably have been cornering Rin for D's murder, if he'd done that.

Truck would probably also take a lot of power, too. If he happened to miss somehow...wouldn't that pretty much deplete the psych for a bit? I don't know how psychokineses works. [ there's a pause. ] I don't really know how most of these work, actually. Outside of what I can guess.
